Typefully is a writing tool, and a good one. The editor is why people stay: a clean page, no dashboard around it, the draft and nothing else. For X threads the composition tools are hard to fault — auto-numbering, drag-to-reorder, the Thread Finisher, media inline as you type.
One draft cross-posts to X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads, and Mastodon, with per-platform edits before it goes out. The X analytics are good enough that reviewers reach for them instead of X’s own. If writing is the part you like, Typefully clears everything out from between you and the page. That’s the point of it, and it delivers.
Who should keep it
If you like writing and you still do it — you open the tab most weeks, you have things to say, the bottleneck is polish and scheduling rather than starting — keep Typefully. A tool that gets out of your way is worth more than one that does the work, when you want to do the work.

Pricing, as of July 2026
Both tools have a free plan. Typefully’s runs to roughly 15 posts a month on one social account. FeedSquad’s Handler free plan is 10 posts a month with the calendar and scheduling included. As free tiers go, they’re close.
Above free, the two stop being comparable, because they aren’t the same job. Typefully prices a writing tool — a modest monthly fee. FeedSquad prices the writing itself: €39/mo for Ghost on LinkedIn, or €99/mo for the Core Squad across LinkedIn, X, and Threads. Handler, Pixel, and the other included specialists are named on the pricing page.
So the honest comparison isn’t a number against a number. It’s a cheaper editor against someone drafting the calendar for you. Decide which one your empty drafts folder needs.
