Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
What FeedSquad collects, why, who else receives it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. If something here is unclear, email privacy@feedsquad.com and a person will answer.
The short version
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
- We don't train AI models on your content. Our AI providers may not either, under their API terms (section 5).
- Nothing is posted in your name unless you approve it: in FeedSquad, in Chief on Telegram, or in an AI assistant you have allowed to publish (section 6).
- Your data is stored in the EU (Ireland), and our servers run in the EU (Frankfurt). The providers outside the EU are named on our sub-processor list.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We do it without undue delay, and within 30 days of your request (section 9).
1.Who we are
Controller
Herman Foundry Oy (Business ID 3636930-1)
99140 Kittilä, Finland
Privacy contact: privacy@feedsquad.com
We have not appointed a data protection officer. Privacy requests go to the address above and are handled by the people who run FeedSquad.
This policy covers feedsquad.com, the FeedSquad app, Chief on Telegram, and FeedSquad through AI assistants (together, the "Service"). For your own account and your use of the Service, Herman Foundry Oy is the controller.
Some data in FeedSquad belongs to other people: your newsletter subscribers, the people Scout finds for you, your team. For that data you, our customer, decide what happens, and we process it on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement. Section 7 explains this.
2.What we collect and why
Each row says what we use, why, the legal basis under the GDPR, and how long we keep it. "Contract" means we need it to provide the Service you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(b)). "Legitimate interest" means it is necessary for an interest of ours that does not override your rights (Art. 6(1)(f)); you can object to it (section 11). "Consent" means you agreed and can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)). "Legal obligation" means a law requires it (Art. 6(1)(c)).
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your account and signing in | Name, email address, your Google or GitHub sign-in identity if you use one, your password as a hash if you set one, profile settings and time zone. | Contract | While your account is active. Removed when we process your deletion request. |
| The work you do in FeedSquad | Posts, drafts, campaigns, ideas, your brand context in Stash (who you are, your voice, positioning, audience, approved claims), writing samples, uploaded files, images, screen recordings, interview recordings and transcripts, voice notes, and notes you give Chief. | Contract | Until you delete the item or your account. Some items have shorter limits (section 9). |
| Publishing and reading your connected accounts | Access tokens, the profile and page details the platform returns, your posts and their analytics, and replies and comments on your posts (section 3). | Contract | Tokens until you disconnect (with the exceptions in section 3). What we received, while your account is active. |
| Chief on Telegram and your calendar | Your Telegram user and chat IDs and username, your replies to Chief, and calendar data you connect (section 4). | Contract | While your account is active. |
| Payments and bookkeeping | Plan, invoices, payment status, billing name, email and address. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. | Contract; legal obligation for the accounting records | Accounting records as long as the Finnish Accounting Act requires: generally 6 years for vouchers and 10 years for the books. |
| Managing our customer relationship and support | A customer record created when you sign up (name, email address, sign-up date, whether you came through a referral, account status), referral credit, and the emails you exchange with us. | Contract; legitimate interest in running our customer relationships and support. Not used for advertising. | While you are a customer. This record is not removed automatically with your account; we remove it when we process your deletion request. |
| Service email | Email address, name, and the content of the email: welcome, sign-in links, notifications, approvals and summaries. | Contract | Delivery logs while your account is active; removed when we process your deletion request. Notification emails carry an unsubscribe link. |
| Security, abuse prevention and fixing errors | IP address, browser and device details, request logs, rate-limit counters, a bot check at sign-up, and error reports. | Legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and working | Rate-limit counters 7 days. Hosting request logs and error reports under our providers’ retention settings. |
| Understanding how the Service is used | Page views, clicks and product events, linked to your account ID when you are signed in (section 13). In your browser this runs only after you accept analytics cookies. Server events contain identifiers, counts and categories, never post text, prompts, messages, email addresses or tokens. | Consent for analytics in your browser; legitimate interest for cookieless page counts and server events, which you can switch off in Settings | Product analytics events are kept in PostHog for up to 7 years, the period its plan provides (PostHog does not let us set a shorter one). We delete them when we process your account deletion. |
| Legal claims and requests from authorities | What a specific claim or lawful request concerns. | Legal obligation; legitimate interest in defending legal claims | For as long as the matter requires. |
We do not send marketing email without your consent. If we ever do with your consent, every such email has an unsubscribe link.
3.Connected social accounts
You connect a social account by signing in to it and approving the permissions FeedSquad asks for. We never see your password for those platforms.
3.1 What we read
- Your LinkedIn member ID and name, and, where LinkedIn returns them, your email address, profile picture and language setting. If your FeedSquad profile has no name or photo, we fill them in from LinkedIn.
- Your follower count, the number of your first-degree connections, the analytics of your posts, and the posts you published, to confirm a publish and measure it.
- For the Company Pages you manage: the page name, logo, public URL name, description, website, industry, staff count and your admin role, and page and follower statistics.
We do not read your work history, education, skills, endorsements, connections list or messages.
X
- Your X ID, username, name and profile picture, and your follower and following counts.
- Your posts and their metrics, including your past posts (up to the most recent 3,200 or so), which Stash can learn your writing voice from.
- Replies to and mentions of your posts, with the author's username, name and picture, and public search results for topics you track.
We do not read your direct messages.
Threads
Your Threads ID, username and profile picture, your follower count and post insights, and replies to your posts.
FeedSquad connects to no other social networks today.
3.2 What we post
We publish only what you approve: posts, threads, images, videos, documents and replies. Approval comes from you, in FeedSquad, in Chief on Telegram, or in an AI assistant you have allowed to publish (section 6). Today Chief cannot approve or schedule a post on its own. If we ever offer an opt-in mode where it can, you'll have to switch it on yourself, and we'll describe it here first. Chief may move an approved post to a better time. On X, likes, reposts, bookmarks and hiding a reply happen only when you take or approve that action.
3.3 Disconnecting
- Disconnect any account in Settings. FeedSquad stops using it straight away.
- For LinkedIn, X and Threads we delete the access tokens. Disconnecting your LinkedIn account also deletes the tokens of the Company Pages you added through it.
- A LinkedIn Company Page can also be turned off on its own: FeedSquad stops using it but keeps its token, so you can turn it back on. Removing the page deletes its token.
- For X we also ask X to revoke the access we were given. LinkedIn and Threads offer us no way to do that, so to end access completely there, also remove FeedSquad in the platform's own settings.
- Disconnecting does not delete what we already received, such as your posts, their analytics and what Stash learned from them. Delete those in FeedSquad or by deleting your account. The exception is LinkedIn comment data, which would be deleted as soon as you disconnect (section 7.1).
4.Chief: messages and calendar
- Telegram. When you connect Chief to Telegram we store the link to it: your Telegram user and chat IDs and username. Chief sends you messages and approval cards there, and your replies can approve, edit or skip work. You can unlink Telegram at any time. Telegram can also be used to send images to Pixel's shelf.
- Calendar. With your permission, Chief reads your Google Calendar (read-only). For events relevant to planning we store the title, time, duration, location and number of attendees, but not who they are. Private events you don't organise are stored as "[private]".
5.How we use AI
FeedSquad's agents use AI models to draft, plan, sort and check your work. Here is what that means for your data.
5.1 No training on your content
- We do not train or fine-tune AI models on your content. FeedSquad learns your voice and your business by storing what you tell it (in Stash and in Chief's memory) and including the relevant parts in each request to the model.
- We use our AI providers' business APIs. Under their API terms they may not use your data to train their models. They may keep requests for a limited time to detect abuse, under their own terms. We do not have a zero-retention arrangement with them.
- Every request to OpenAI is sent with storage switched off (OpenAI's
store: falsesetting), so OpenAI does not keep it in its stored-responses features.
5.2 Which provider receives what
| When you use | What is sent | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Writing and planning (Ghost, Pulse, Stitch, Handler, Chief, Cite, Herald, Whisper) | Your request, the drafts and posts concerned, relevant brand context from Stash, and performance data. | Anthropic or OpenAI. Each is the automatic fallback for the other. |
| Web research while drafting and planning | A short search query built from your topic, industry or audience, with email addresses and phone numbers taken out. The provider runs the web search and returns what it found. | Anthropic, with OpenAI as fallback |
| Stash | Notes, documents, transcripts, website text and past posts you add, to sort them into your brand context; short summaries for search. | Anthropic (sorting); OpenAI (search indexing) |
| Replies to comments and replies | The comment or reply, the commenter’s name and headline, and your post. | Anthropic, with OpenAI as fallback (LinkedIn: section 7.1) |
| Pixel | Post text, brand details and images: to plan a visual, describe shelf images, generate or edit images, and inspect every rendered visual before it is offered. | Anthropic (planning, descriptions, inspection); OpenAI (image generation, search indexing) |
| Parley interviews | In a live interview, your microphone audio goes from your browser directly to OpenAI’s voice interviewer. Recordings are transcribed, and the transcript is used for writing. | OpenAI (voice and transcription); writing as above |
| Voice notes | The audio, to transcribe it. The transcript is then processed like any other writing (first row). | OpenAI (transcription); writing as above |
| Scout | Public posts Scout found and your ideal customer profile, to judge whether someone is a good lead. | Anthropic, with OpenAI as fallback |
| Cite citation checks | Only the search question (built from your brand, topic and competitor names), to see whether ChatGPT’s and Claude’s answers cite your site. | OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude) |
5.3 Your own AI
"Bring your own AI" in FeedSquad means connecting your own AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to your account (section 6). The assistant then acts with the permissions you gave it, and your conversation with it is governed by your own agreement with that provider.
5.4 Overwride rewrites (optional)
Overwride is another Herman Foundry Oy service. When you choose an Overwride rewrite for a post, we send the post's text to Overwride, which uses xAI's model (United States) to rewrite it (each part of a thread separately). Overwride stores its records in the EU (Ireland), and its servers run in the United States (Washington, D.C.), on the same infrastructure providers as FeedSquad (Supabase and Vercel). Rewriting a post creates a public Overwride record of your draft and the rewrite: anyone with the record's link, or with the exact text of the rewrite, can see both. FeedSquad cannot delete these records. We ask you before your first rewrite, and nothing is sent unless you choose it for a post.
Our AI providers are OpenAI and Anthropic, and xAI only for Overwride rewrites you choose (section 5.4).
AI output can be wrong. That is one reason nothing is published without your approval.
6.AI assistants (MCP)
FeedSquad supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which lets AI assistants such as ChatGPT (by OpenAI) and Claude (by Anthropic) work with your FeedSquad account on your behalf.
6.1 How MCP access works
- Connections use OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You authorise each connection and see which permissions (scopes) it gets.
- AI platforms never receive your FeedSquad password or your social media credentials.
- Access tokens expire after one hour and are refreshed automatically. Refresh tokens are stored only as a hash.
6.2 Data shared with AI platforms
When you use FeedSquad through an MCP-connected AI assistant, the assistant receives the data in each answer to a request it makes for you. Depending on which tools it uses and which permissions you granted, that can include:
- Your posts: their text, titles, platform, status and scheduled times, the calendar and campaign they belong to (campaign names, descriptions and themes), and their publishing history
- Media on your posts: the media type, the number of items and the alt text; when the assistant attaches or uploads media, time-limited links to those images, videos or documents; and, when it asks for a post in full detail, the media addresses stored on the post. Some of those stored addresses are time-limited links and some are permanent unlisted addresses
- Your connected accounts: the account labels and handles (for example a LinkedIn company page name), whether each connection is still valid, and the sign-in links to connect a platform
- Engagement metrics for your published posts (likes, comments, shares, impressions and engagement rate), and a written summary of what worked when the assistant asks for one
- Your brand context, when you use the brand tools: the facts you confirmed in FeedSquad about you and your brand, such as your display name and role, your voice and tone examples, your positioning, your audience, your approved claims and your brand colours
- Your plan and usage: which plan you are on, how many posts you have published this month, your queue headroom and your media allowance
- Writing checks: the results of checking a draft for patterns that read as machine-written, and entries from FeedSquad's public AI Tells Index
- In ChatGPT, if you grant the identity permissions, a stable identifier for your FeedSquad account, and your account email address and whether it is verified, so ChatGPT can recognise your account
FeedSquad shares this data only to do what you ask the assistant to do: draft, schedule, review and publish your posts, and report on your account. Some requests also send text or images to FeedSquad's own AI providers (section 5) to do the work:
- the draft and your brand voice, when the assistant asks for platform versions of a post;
- your post text, when it asks for a summary of what worked;
- the notes or transcripts the assistant passes to Stash, which are sorted by a model and wait in your Stash inbox until you approve them;
- visuals Pixel renders for the assistant: every rendered page is inspected by a model, together with the copy on it, before it is offered.
We never share your social media credentials, your payment details, your passwords or your voice recordings with AI platforms through MCP.
What the AI platform keeps from your conversation, and for how long, is governed by that platform's own privacy policy (see 6.4).
6.3 Your control
- You can revoke MCP access at any time from your FeedSquad settings or from the AI platform.
- Posts created through MCP are saved as drafts. They are published only when you approve them: in FeedSquad, or in the assistant itself if you granted the publishing permission. That permission is part of the default set, so check the consent screen and leave it out if you want to approve every post in FeedSquad.
- Actions taken through an AI assistant are recorded in your account with MCP as their source.
- Rate limits apply to MCP use according to your plan.
6.4 AI platform privacy policies
When you use FeedSquad through a third-party AI assistant, your interactions are also subject to that platform's privacy policy:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT): openai.com/privacy
- Anthropic (Claude): anthropic.com/privacy
7.Other people’s data
FeedSquad also handles data about people who are not our users. For most of it our customer decides why and how it is processed, and we process it for them under our Data Processing Agreement: the customer is the controller and we are the processor. If you are one of these people, the customer's own privacy notice applies, and they are the first place to exercise your rights. You can also write to privacy@feedsquad.com; we will pass your request to the customer, or act on it ourselves where this section says so.
7.1 Comments left by other LinkedIn members
If a customer connects a LinkedIn Company Page, FeedSquad can read the comments other LinkedIn members leave on that page's posts so that the page owner can read and reply to them inside FeedSquad. The page owner decides to do this, and we process the comments for them. Because LinkedIn's terms bind us directly, we also set the limits below ourselves, and they apply whatever the page owner asks.
Reading these comments is switched off today: FeedSquad collects none of them now. The commitments below apply from the day it is switched on.
What we process
- The commenter's name, professional headline, profile photo and public vanity name
- The text of the comment they left on the page's post
- LinkedIn's stable identifiers for the person, the comment and the post (URNs)
Why we process it
For one purpose only: to let the administrator of the Company Page read the comment and reply to it. Every reply is drafted for the page owner and requires their explicit approval before it is sent. Nothing is published automatically.
Lawful basis
Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): the page owner's interest in responding to people who chose to comment publicly on their page, and the commenter's own interest in receiving a reply. In balancing those interests against the commenter's rights we considered that: the comment was posted publicly and deliberately, on a page whose owner is visible; we process only what LinkedIn already displays next to the comment; we add no data from any other source and build no profile; we keep the data for hours, not years; and a reply from the page is the ordinary, expected consequence of commenting on it.
How long we keep it
- Name, headline, photo and vanity name: deleted within 24 hours of collection
- Comment text: deleted within 48 hours of collection
- LinkedIn identifiers (URNs): kept, so that we can recognise a comment we have already handled and act on an erasure request
- On disconnect: if the page owner disconnects the Company Page or their LinkedIn account, all of that page's comment data is deleted immediately rather than waiting out the periods above
What we never do with it
This data is used to display and answer the comment, and for nothing else. We never use it:
- To generate leads, identify prospects, or score anyone as a sales opportunity
- To enrich a CRM or any customer record
- To build audiences, segments or lookalikes
- For advertising or ad targeting of any kind
- To train AI models
We do not sell it or rent it. It is never shared with third-party AI assistants through our MCP integration (section 6), and it is not included in email or messaging notifications: those carry counts only, and the comment itself is visible only inside FeedSquad.
The processors it reaches
When a reply draft is requested, the comment text and the commenter's name and headline are sent to our AI model provider (Anthropic; OpenAI only as an automatic fallback when Anthropic is unavailable) for the single purpose of producing that draft. These are the only third parties the data reaches, apart from the infrastructure that hosts FeedSquad (section 8). A draft is requested only by the page owner in FeedSquad, or by Chief working for the page owner where Chief is switched on for their account; drafting never runs on its own otherwise. Under each provider's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models. If no draft is requested, the comment never leaves FeedSquad's own systems.
Objection and erasure
If you commented on a page managed through FeedSquad and want your data removed, or you object to this processing, email privacy@feedsquad.com with a link to your LinkedIn profile. We will erase every record associated with it, tell the page owner, and confirm to you when it is done. You do not need a FeedSquad account to make this request, and we will not ask you to create one.
7.3 People Scout finds
Scout looks for public posts on X and Threads about the topics a customer tracks, and judges whether the author could be a good lead for that customer, using an AI model and the customer's ideal customer profile. We store the author's handle and display name, a link to the post and a short excerpt. For people the customer saves as leads we also store the name, role and company shown publicly, why they look relevant, a fit score and a suggested opening line. After 90 days the excerpt, handle, name and link of each observed post are erased. Saved leads stay until the customer deletes them. Scout never uses LinkedIn data.
7.4 People in Pulse, and replies on X and Threads
Pulse helps a customer keep track of the people they interact with on X. We store each person's X ID, handle, display name and picture, whether they follow each other, the labels the customer sets (for example peer, customer or partner), relationship goals, and interaction history, along with replies to and mentions of the customer's posts. People Pulse has only observed are deleted 90 days after they were last relevant, and raw replies after 90 days; ended relationship goals are deleted after 400 days. People the customer confirms or links to a lead stay until the customer deletes them. Unanswered replies on Threads are deleted after 7 days.
7.5 Team members
A customer can invite colleagues to their team and to Whisper, which helps employees share company posts. We store each member's name, email address and role; for Whisper also their job title, industry, the topics they speak about and the topics they want to avoid, the drafts written for them, and how their posts perform. Whisper ranks team members by how well a post fits them, so it can suggest who should share it. Invitations are sent by email through Resend.
7.6 People in calendars
When a customer connects Google Calendar to Chief, we store what section 4 describes. We do not store calendar attendees' identities.
7.7 People in your content
Posts, photos, recordings and notes can name or show other people. The customer who adds them is responsible for having the right to use them. We process that content only to provide the Service.
8.Who receives data
- Our sub-processors: the hosting, payment, email, monitoring and AI services that run FeedSquad. Each is listed with its purpose, the data it receives, its location and the transfer safeguard on the sub-processor page.
- The platforms and assistants you connect: they receive what you publish or ask for, on your instruction and under your own agreement with them.
- The channel you choose for Chief (Telegram): it receives the messages Chief sends you there and your replies, under your own account and its own terms. It is not our sub-processor.
- Pexels (stock photos) receives only search words from our servers, never your post text or account details. When you look at the results, your browser loads the photos from Pexels, which sees your IP address, under its own terms. Pexels is not our processor.
- Professional advisers (such as our accountant or lawyer), under confidentiality, where needed.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to disclose data.
- A buyer or successor if Herman Foundry Oy or FeedSquad is sold or merged. We would tell you before your data became subject to a different privacy policy.
International transfers
Our database and file storage are in the EU (Ireland), and our server functions run in the EU (Frankfurt). Product analytics and error monitoring are also hosted in the EU.
Several providers process data outside the EU, in the United States: our AI providers, payments, email, website analytics and the isolated computers Pixel uses for media work. Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Sentry, PostHog and Google are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and for them we rely on it together with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in their data processing terms. Supabase, OpenAI and Anthropic are not certified; for them we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses. The sub-processor list names the safeguard for each provider. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards at privacy@feedsquad.com.
9.How long we keep it
9.1 While your account is active
- Account, content and brand context: until you delete the item or your account.
- Images uploaded to a post: up to 90 days after upload. Images on an unpublished (draft or scheduled) post are kept until it is published or you remove them; after publishing, the platform hosts its own copy.
- Media attached through an AI assistant: deleted 30 days after the post is published; uploads never attached to a post, after 7 days; assets saved for reuse, 30 days after upload if never used, or 90 days after they were last used; unfinished uploads, after 24 hours.
- Pixel's shelf (images, screen recordings, the pages you approved for capture and their screenshots): until you delete them or your account. Shelf images are stored at unlisted web addresses that anyone holding the exact address can open; we do not list or publish those addresses. Screen recordings are stored privately and reachable only through short-lived links issued to your account.
- Parley interviews: recordings and transcripts are kept until you delete them or your account.
- Newsletter subscribers who unsubscribed or bounced: erased 30 days later, keeping only the salted hash that stops the address being added back (section 7.2).
- Connections: tokens until you disconnect (section 3.3).
- Other people's data: as section 7 describes (LinkedIn comments 24 and 48 hours, once comment reading is switched on; Scout and X data 90 days; Threads replies 7 days; lapsed newsletter subscribers 30 days).
- Rate-limit counters: 7 days.
- Accounting records: as long as the Finnish Accounting Act requires.
9.2 When you delete your account
- Ask in Settings → Account, or email privacy@feedsquad.com. Deletion is processed by our team without undue delay, and completed within 30 days of your request.
- We delete your account, your content and your connections. Your Pixel shelf is purged automatically 14 days after your request.
- Your subscription is cancelled at Stripe. Accounting records stay as the law requires.
- We also delete your product analytics data in PostHog: your analytics profile and its events.
- Other records our providers hold outside our database, such as email delivery logs and error reports, are not yet removed automatically. They expire under those providers' retention settings, or we have them removed when you ask.
- Copies in backups disappear as the backups expire.
- What you published stays on the platforms you published to. Delete it there.
10.Security
- All connections to FeedSquad use TLS (HTTPS).
- Access tokens for the social platforms, the calendar and the publishing and search-console connections you add, the GitHub sign-in token, and app passwords and API keys you store with us, are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are saved.
- If you set a password, it is stored only as a hash by our authentication provider. AI-assistant refresh tokens are stored only as a hash.
- Database rules restrict each signed-in user to their own data. Production access is limited to the people who run FeedSquad.
- Our database, file storage and server functions are hosted in the EU.
- Every page is sent with security headers: HTTPS enforced for a year (HSTS), no content-type sniffing, a strict referrer policy, camera and microphone allowed only for FeedSquad itself, and protection against being framed by other sites. A content security policy runs in report-only mode.
FeedSquad is not end-to-end encrypted: our servers can read your content, because they have to in order to draft, schedule and publish it. Two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app is available in Settings. No system is perfectly secure; if you find a vulnerability or suspect misuse of your account, email privacy@feedsquad.com. Our security page has the details.
11.Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it. Settings → Account → Privacy → Download your data gives you your profile, brand context (Stash) and preferences as JSON at once; for everything else, including your posts, email us.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete. You can change most of it yourself in Settings.
- Delete your data (section 9.2).
- Restrict our processing while a question about it is being resolved.
- Data portability: receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format (we send it as JSON).
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including analytics and profiling. For product analytics this is a switch: Settings → Account → Privacy → Product analytics. Turn it off and we record nothing linked to your account, in your browser or on our servers.
- Withdraw consent at any time, for example to analytics cookies through "Cookie settings" in the website footer or the app sidebar, without affecting what happened before.
Email privacy@feedsquad.com to exercise any of these rights. We answer within one month; if a request is complex we may extend this by up to two more months and will tell you why. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
12.Automated decisions and profiling
FeedSquad makes no decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on anyone (Art. 22 GDPR). Some features score or rank people to help our customers decide what to do; a person always decides:
- Scout lead scoring judges whether the author of a public post could be a good lead for a customer (section 7.3). This is profiling we do on the customer's behalf; the legal basis is the customer's. To object, contact the customer or email us.
- Pulse and Whisper rank people by relevance: Pulse by your relationship with them on X, Whisper by which team member a post suits.
- Comment priority: once comment reading is switched on (section 7.1), Ghost orders comments on your page so you see the ones most worth answering first.
- Chief keeps track of which of its suggestions you approve, to decide how much to ask you. Today Chief cannot approve or schedule a post on its own. If we ever offer an opt-in mode where it can, you'll have to switch it on yourself, and we'll describe it here first.
- Sign-up bot check: an automated check can block a sign-up that looks automated. If that happens to you, email us and a person will look at it.
14.Children
FeedSquad is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 16. You must be at least 16 to use it, and at least 18 to start a paid plan. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email privacy@feedsquad.com and we will delete it.
15.Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top and say what changed below. Before a change that affects how we use your data takes effect, we tell account holders by email or by a notice in the app, at least 14 days in advance. Past versions are available on request.
What changed on October 22, 2026
- Rewritten to describe the Service as it works in production today, including Chief, Scout, Herald, Whisper, Parley and Cite. Features that are not live are not described, and their providers are not on the sub-processor list. Before a new feature launches, we add it here and its providers to the list.
- Corrected: we do not train AI models on your content; FeedSquad is not end-to-end encrypted; account deletion is a request we complete within 30 days.
- New in the product and described here: the cookie banner now asks signed-in users too, and PostHog and Google Analytics do nothing until you accept; a product analytics switch in Settings; the minimum age is 16, and 18 for paid plans; automatic deletion of lapsed newsletter subscribers (30 days); disconnecting an account deletes its stored tokens, and X access is revoked; security headers; OpenAI storage switched off on every request; no Google fonts in newsletters.
- Added: a table of purposes, legal bases and retention, including how long product analytics events are kept; what we read from each platform; which AI provider receives what; other people's data and our Data Processing Agreement; the sub-processor list; transfers; automated decisions; the cookies we set; the right to complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman.
