Terms of Service

Last Updated and effective: October 22, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FeedSquad's website, applications, and services.

Welcome to FeedSquad. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FeedSquad website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our Service.

1. Definitions

In these Terms:

  • "FeedSquad," "we," "our," or "us" refers to Herman Foundry Oy (Business ID 3636930-1), a limited company registered in Finland that operates the FeedSquad service, and its officers and employees.
  • "User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
  • "Content" refers to text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information, or other materials.
  • "User Content" refers to Content that users submit, upload, or transmit to or through the Service.

2. Account Registration and Security

To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You must be at least 16 to use the Service, and at least 18 to start a paid plan. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we close it and delete its data.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. User Content and Licenses

3.1 User Content Ownership

You retain all rights to your User Content. By submitting, posting, or displaying User Content on or through the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such User Content.

3.2 AI and Content Generation

The Service uses AI models from third-party providers to draft and check content. It matches your style and tone by storing the context you give it, such as your voice and writing samples and your brand details, and including the relevant parts in each request. We do not train or fine-tune AI models on your content, and our AI providers may not use it to train theirs under their API terms. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of the content generated by the Service based on your inputs. AI output can be inaccurate; review it before you approve it for publishing.

3.3 Representations and Warranties

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
  • Your User Content does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party
  • Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws

3.4 Image Storage and Retention

Images you upload to attach to a post are stored on our infrastructure so we can publish them to your connected platforms. We retain an uploaded image for up to 90 days after upload. Images attached to an unpublished (draft or scheduled) post are kept until that post is published or you remove the image. Once a post is published, the destination platform hosts its own copy and our copy may be deleted on or after the 90-day window. You can remove an image from a post at any time.

3.5 Photos, Recordings and Pages You Add to Pixel

You can add photos, screenshots and other images to Pixel's shelf — from the app, by sending them to Chief on Telegram, or through a connected AI assistant — so Pixel can use them in visuals for your posts. What you share is your decision. By adding an image you confirm that you have the right to use it in your posts, including the permission of any identifiable person shown in it.

Shelf images are stored at unlisted web addresses: anyone who has an image's exact address can open it. The addresses are long and random, and we do not list or publish them, but you should not add an image you would not be comfortable being public.

Shelf images are kept until you delete them or delete your account. You can tell Pixel to stop using an image at any time, and you can delete it from your shelf, which removes our copy. Copies already published in a post remain on the platform you published to. Pixel does not use headshots in visuals unless you turn that on.

Screen recordings. You can upload screen recordings so Pixel can turn them into short product videos for your posts. Recordings and the videos made from them are stored privately: they are only reachable through short-lived links issued to your account. They are kept until you delete them or delete your account.

Product pages. You can ask Pixel to take screenshots of web pages, one page at a time: Pixel captures a page only after you approve that exact address, and you can take the approval back at any time. Pixel visits like a logged-out visitor, follows the site's robots.txt and never signs in. Only add pages of your own product or pages you have the right to use. The screenshots are added to your shelf and are handled like the shelf images above.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or objectionable content
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Transmit spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional materials
  • Upload malicious software or code designed to harm systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or connected networks
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Social Media Connections

The Service allows you to connect and publish content to social media platforms. By connecting your social media accounts to our Service, you authorize us to access and use your social media content in accordance with the terms and conditions of those platforms.

We use analytics to measure and improve the Service, including PostHog (EU-hosted product analytics), Vercel (performance), and Google Analytics with Consent Mode (web/marketing). Browser analytics (PostHog and Google Analytics) run, and set cookies, only with your consent, which you can change at any time through "Cookie settings". Cookieless page counts and server-side product-usage events (identifiers, counts and category values, never your content) run on the basis of our legitimate interest; to leave your account out of product analytics, switch off Settings → Account → Privacy → Product analytics. For full details, see section 13 of our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party AI Tool Access (MCP)

6.1 MCP Integration

FeedSquad supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows compatible third-party AI assistants (such as ChatGPT by OpenAI and Claude by Anthropic) to interact with your FeedSquad account. By authorizing an MCP connection, you:

  • Grant the connected AI platform permission to perform actions on your behalf within the scopes you approve
  • Acknowledge that content you create through the AI assistant will be transmitted between FeedSquad and the AI platform
  • Accept that your use of the AI platform is also subject to that platform's terms of service

6.2 Scope of Access

MCP-connected tools can only perform actions within the permissions (scopes) you explicitly authorize:

  • posts:read — View your posts and content calendar
  • posts:write — Create, edit, and delete draft posts
  • posts:publish — Approve and publish posts to social platforms
  • campaigns:write — Create and manage campaigns
  • billing:read — View pricing and usage information

6.3 Safety Measures

  • Posts created through MCP are saved as drafts and are published only when you approve them, either in FeedSquad or in the AI assistant if you granted it the posts:publish scope
  • All MCP actions are subject to the same rate limits as direct Service usage, based on your subscription plan
  • MCP access uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and short-lived tokens (1-hour expiry)
  • You may revoke MCP access at any time from your FeedSquad settings

6.4 Liability for MCP Actions

You are responsible for all actions taken through MCP-connected AI assistants on your account, including content created, posts approved, and campaigns managed. FeedSquad is not responsible for actions initiated by third-party AI platforms, errors in AI-generated content, or any consequences of publishing content created through MCP tools.

Note: For more details on data handling through MCP, see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscription and Payment

7.1 Subscription Plans

Some features of the Service may require a subscription. We reserve the right to modify, terminate, or otherwise amend our offered subscription plans at any time.

7.2 Payment and Billing

You agree to pay all fees based on the billing terms in effect. You must provide a valid payment method as a condition to signing up for a paid subscription.

By starting a subscription, you authorize us to charge you the subscription fee and any other charges you may incur.

7.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, you may use your subscription until the end of your current billing period, but, except as set out below, you will not receive a refund for any fees already paid.

First-payment refund. If this is your first paid subscription, you can request a full refund within 14 days of that first payment. This refund is available once per customer and covers only that first subscription payment; one-off payments, such as Momentum playbooks and the Cite onboarding fee, are not covered. When we make the refund, that subscription ends.

To request it, use the billing page in your account settings, or email support@feedsquad.com from the email address on your account.

Sub-processor objection. If you object to a new sub-processor and we cannot offer a solution, you may end the affected part of the Service and we refund the fees you prepaid for the period after it ends, as section 8.4 of our Data Processing Agreement describes.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of FeedSquad and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

FeedSquad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

FeedSquad's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid FeedSquad in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

These limits and exclusions do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or where mandatory law, including Article 82 of the GDPR, does not allow liability to be limited or excluded.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice. By continuing to use our Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

13. Data Protection and Data Processing Agreement

How we handle your own personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

When you use the Service to process personal data about other people, such as newsletter subscribers, people Scout finds for you, people you track in Pulse, your team members, people who comment on your LinkedIn page, or data from the calendar and CRM you connect, you are the controller of that data and FeedSquad processes it on your behalf as your processor.

Our Data Processing Agreement ("DPA"), including its annexes and the sub-processor list, forms part of these Terms and applies automatically when you accept them. No signature is needed. If the DPA and these Terms conflict on the processing of that personal data, the DPA prevails.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that processing and for informing the people concerned, as the DPA describes.
