Stitch vs Hootsuite
Hootsuite is a social media suite for teams, with publishing, an inbox, listening and analytics across nine networks. Stitch is a Threads writing agent that drafts conversational posts from your own ideas. Here is how they differ, with sources.
What Hootsuite is
Hootsuite is a social media suite for teams and brands. It publishes to Threads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and Bluesky from one calendar. On Threads it schedules text, up to 20 images or a video, from its web app, on every plan.
Its AI assistant drafts posts in the tone of your recent posts, can take ideas from up to two documents and rewrites a post for each network. It also makes AI images, and Canva and Adobe Express templates are built in. Approval workflows are on the Advanced and Enterprise plans.
A shared inbox lets a team reply to Threads comments, and up to 12 months of Threads history is backfilled when you connect. Listening, competitive benchmarking, ads and employee advocacy are part of the suite; listening on Threads needs Enterprise.

What Stitch is
Stitch is FeedSquad’s Threads writing agent. It writes conversational Threads posts from your ideas, with a chain of your own replies when a thought runs longer, and every post waits for your approval.
Starts from your material
Bring an idea in your own words, a link or a document such as a PDF or Word file. Stitch keeps your point and rewrites it in a shorter, more personal register.
Written for Threads
Posts of up to 500 characters, with a longer thought posted as a connected chain of your own replies. No hashtags or topic tags unless you choose otherwise.
Checked across the campaign
Repeated openings and phrases lifted from your writing samples are rewritten, or the draft is held.
Nothing goes out without you
Every post stays a draft until you approve it. Where your Threads connection allows it, Stitch drafts an answer to a reply when you ask, and it goes out only when you press Send.
Part of a team
Handler publishes your approved posts to Threads, and template Pixel makes post visuals. Both come with Stitch. The FeedSquad Bundle adds Ghost for LinkedIn, Pulse for X and Stash, the shared memory every agent reads.
