The empty queue
Scheduling was never the hard part. Copying a post into a box and picking a time is a two-minute job. The hard part is Sunday night, the queue empty, no idea what Tuesday’s post should be — or Thursday’s, or the one after that.
Buffer shows you the empty slots. It doesn’t fill them. Its AI Assistant — free on every plan — drafts from a prompt, rewords, and suggests ideas, which is useful once you know what you’re saying. Deciding what to say, week after week, in a voice that reads like you wrote it — a scheduler was never built for that.
So the queue stays empty, you post twice in March, disappear, and your audience forgets you were there. The tool worked perfectly. The presence still didn’t happen.
